I'm also a Mini Me owner amd I'm using it my main retro PC. I can recommend you to use it in pair with powerful AGP graphics card. When and if you decide to do this, we can choose from several CPUs. And if you will use Mini Me as stand alone card, then you should get something like 1,6 GHz+ Pentium M or fastest Athlon XP CPU. As for me, such CPUs is needed mostly for quick AI and faster loading time.
About OS. My choice is Windows Me. I know that this OS is not very popular, but i have very nice experience with it and if you will not play DOS games, then Millennium Edition is my personal favorite.
As for the best drivers. My choice for now is Amigamerlin 2.9. They are not perfect, but in average they demonstrate best results in compatibility / performance.

If you will use motherboard based on VIA or Nvidia chipset, set the "VIA chipset compatibility mode" to "BIOS defaults ". If you ignore it, aystem may hang during 3D tests and games.
If you are interested in my personal opinion, i can provide you more information about my configuration and performance level.

The Mini-me card is nothing more than V4 PCI with all its pros and cons. If you choose an HDMI connection, it may be picky to your monitor. You'll get an installation manual, that question is covered there.

Win9x is preferred OS.

У меня вопрос по драйверу Voodoo 5 6000 PCI для WinXP. Поставив Amigamerlin для Windows XP SP3, я получил чёрный экран, система зависла. А для каких редакций Windows XP предназначены эти драйверы?

TINC, у меня всё работало на SP3. Есть вероятность, что после установки драйвера, система начала использовать основную графическую карту. Надо обязательно посмотреть, что на её выходе показывается. У меня была подобная реакция.
